  • Our department is responsible for emergency trauma care with 2 shock rooms and subsequent surgical intervention for trauma patients.
  • The treatment of critically injured trauma patients follows the damage control principle, i.e. the primary trauma care system includes life saving care and measures which limit further damage, the second treatment looks at injuries that are taken care of in due course.
  • Overall, all commonly used surgery methods are employed in our clinic (intramedullary nail, plate osteosynthesis, joint replacement).
